This is Italy,
the Kula way.
You have one precious week. Spend it doing something extraordinary.
Of course we'll eat incredible Italian food and wander beautiful medieval towns. But that's only part of the story.
We'll move our bodies in the morning, hike through the countryside, learn to make pasta, visit a local vineyard, linger over a farm-to-table lunch, and experience the everyday rhythms of life in Le Marche.
And in between, there's time to slow down. Swim. Sit in the spa. Walk through the olive groves. Wander into Civitanova Alta for coffee or gelato. Read by the pool. Or stay at the table a little longer.
It's not just about the places we'll see. It's everything we'll experience along the way.
What You'll Experience
Italy Beyond the Sights
Explore medieval hill towns, hike the countryside, stop for coffee or gelato in Civitanova, experience the moments that make Le Marche so special.
Move, Rest and Connect
Countryside walks, onsite spa, heated pool, optional Pilates & yoga, tennis court, plenty of time to move, rest, connect and simply be.
Food & Culture
Make fresh pasta, meet a local winemaker, linger over a farm-to-table lunch, experience the flavors and traditions of Le Marche.
Your Italian Home
Nine private acres, two villas, olive groves, pools, gardens, spa, Adriatic views, and a beautiful estate that's entirely ours for the week.
Your Week at a Glance
Welcome to Le Marche
Arrive at our private estate, settle into your room, explore the grounds with olive groves, onsite spa, pools, tennis court and gather for our first beautiful meal together.
Move, Nourish & Connect
Move your body in ways that feel good to you, from morning Pilates and yoga to countryside walks and hikes, then swim, relax in the spa, or simply slow down and savor the day.
Italian Towns & Culture
Explore beautiful Ascoli Piceno, walk into 13th-century Civitanova Alta for coffee, gelato, or shopping, and experience the everyday rhythms of life in Le Marche.
Vineyard & Countryside
Spend time with a local winemaker, learn about the land and winemaking, taste the wines, and linger over a three-course farm-to-table lunch in the countryside.
Hike Le Marche
Hike through the rolling countryside with a local guide, taking in beautiful views and discovering the landscape, villages, and stories of Le Marche along the way.
Pasta, Please
Learn the art of making fresh pasta, then gather around the table to enjoy our homemade Italian dinner together.
Time to Simply Be
Swim. Relax in the spa. Book a massage. Wander through the estate’s ancient olive groves. Walk into Civitanova Alta for coffee or gelato. Read by the pool. Play tennis or pickleball. Take a nap. Or stay at the table a little longer.

This is my second retreat with Jodye—first Peru, and now Costa Rica—and somehow it just keeps getting better. Jodye & Brooke are truly incredible humans. They create experiences that feel fun, grounding, & completely trustworthy. I always feel supported, inspired, and at ease. This is just the beginning of many more beautiful retreats together. -Davalynn E.
This is a once in a lifetime opportunity and I was fortunate enough to do it twice. Jodye Hall plans the very BEST trips and excursions when you reach your destination. For a wonderful experience I highly recommend Jodye!

Frequently asked Questions
Is this a wellness retreat or a cultural trip?
Both! Wellness is woven throughout the week with Pilates, yoga, mobility, meditation, hiking, nourishing food, and plenty of time to rest. But we’re also here to experience Italy through its food, towns, countryside, traditions, and people. Think of it as a wonderful Italian vacation that leaves you feeling really good, too.
Do I need Pilates or yoga experience?
Not at all. Movement sessions are designed for a range of experience levels and are completely optional. Join what feels good to you and skip what doesn’t.
Can I come by myself?
Absolutely. Many of our guests travel solo. Our small-group retreats are designed to make it easy to connect, while still giving you plenty of space to enjoy time on your own.
How active is this trip?
As active or restful as you’d like. Join us for Pilates, yoga, walking, hiking, and exploring, or spend more time by the pool and spa. You can do as much or as little as you like.
Will I have free time?
Yes. There’s plenty of time to swim, enjoy the spa, book a massage, walk through the olive groves, explore Civitanova Alta, or simply relax.
What are the accommodations like?
We’ll have Oliveto Estate entirely to ourselves for seven nights. Every guest room has an ensuite bathroom, and most can be arranged with one king or two twin beds. Rooms vary in size, view, and outdoor space.
What about dietary restrictions?
We can accommodate many food allergies and dietary needs. Please let us know about your requirements when you book so we can plan ahead.
How do I get to Oliveto Estate?
Ancona is the closest airport, about 35 minutes from the estate. You can also fly into one of Italy’s major international airports and continue to Le Marche by train or a connecting flight. Transportation to and from the estate is not included, but we’ll provide detailed travel recommendations well before the retreat. Oliveto is able to help arrange transfers, and we’ll help guests coordinate arrival plans when possible. Please wait for our travel guidance before booking nonrefundable airfare or train tickets.
What is the deposit and payment plan?
A $475 deposit reserves your spot and room category. The remaining balance can be divided into monthly payments, with final payment due three months before the retreat.
What is included in the trip price?
Seven nights at our private estate, chef-prepared brunch and dinner, scheduled group experiences and transportation, our vineyard experience and farm-to-table lunch, pasta making, guided countryside hike, Pilates, yoga and wellness sessions, and full use of the estate amenities.
What is the cancellation policy?
